PBIA third level open again after police c heck “buzzing” luggage

8 pm.: The third floor of Palm Beach International Airport reopened Tuesday night after a cart containing luggage was checked for a suspicious sound.
A Jet Blue employee was pulling the cart when he heard a buzzing sound, sheriff’s spokeswoman Teri Barbera said. The bomb squad checked and cleared all the bags. What caused the sound remained unclear as the sheriff’s office said it could have been an electric toothbrush or razor, or some other electric item.
As of 7 p.m., airport operations were running normally again, an airport spokesman said.
Update, 7:15 p.m.The third level of Palm Beach International Airport has been cleared and airport service is running normally again, a spokesman from the airport’s communications office said.
Update: The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad has arrived on the scene and is investigating a piece of luggage on the third floor of Palm Beach International Airport.
A TSA agent heard a buzzing noise in a piece of luggage.

Level three, the ticket counters and curbside baggage area, is closed at this time.
A spokesperson for PBIA said a luggage was left behind at the JetBlue ticketing counter.
