Manhattan Regional Airport will have new service to the Southwest starting in November.
Allegiant will offer two flights to Phoenix per week starting Nov. 7. Round-trip fares start at $99, but to be eligible for that rate, travelers have to book a flight by Thursday. One-way $59 tickets will be available through Aug. 27, but quantities are limited. Prices don’t include baggage fees.
Allegiant’s website also allows potential travelers to book a hotel room, a rental car and tours of attractions for what it says are discounted prices. It focuses on popular vacation destinations, including Las Vegas and various cities in Florida and California.
Manhattan Regional Airport also has daily service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
“This is great news for the regional leisure and business travelers that will be able to conveniently use the Manhattan Regional Airport with nonstop service to Phoenix,” Manhattan Mayor John Matta said in a news release. “The new service demonstrates the success and viability of our region.”
