Simply stated, the passage of AB 128 will grant the Los Angeles Airport Police the same authorities as other airport police agencies in protecting the airports managed by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), including LAX – one of the world’s busiest airports and considered to be one of our nation’s top terrorist targets.
